We have organized this information in order to help answer your questions as we transition into a new school year. Tuition payments should be made through the FACTS Family Portal.
Extracurricular Programs
Extra-curricular programs will be announced in the Coble Connect . In the past, these activities have included: Lego Robotics, Girl’s Volleyball, Boy’s Intramural Volleyball, Girls’s & Boy’s Basketball teams, Co-Ed Soccer, Bible Study, Gymnastics, Art Club, social groups and more. Private music lessons including band instruments, piano, voice and strings are also available. Lessons can take place during the school day or after school and are scheduled in collaboration with the music instructor and home room teacher. Email the school office for contact information for the music instructors.
Teachers and Class Schedules
“Drop Day” is scheduled before school starts. Parents are welcome to visit the classroom, talk with the teacher, and drop off school supplies. This is the best time to get First Day of school pictures, as parents do not have access to classrooms once school begins.
Parent Night is scheduled during August. Here teachers will share more about their classroom schedules, expectations, and communication preferences. It’s also a great chance to meet other families in your child’s class. We look forward to meeting your family!
School Supplies, Textbooks, and E-books
Updated school supply lists for each classroom are published in the Coble Connect Newsletter in mid-July. All textbooks and e-book access is provided as part of the registration fees. Each child is assigned a Chromebook for their exclusive use during the school day.
Lockers/Cubbies
Lockers are available in the restrooms for students in grades 5-8. Assignments are made during the first week of school. Students in grades 1-8 also have a locker in the hallway to store backpacks, lunches, and coats. Students in grades PreK/Kindergarten are provided cubby space to store lunches, jackets, and rain boots.
School Blessing
A special community prayer walk is held on the Sabbath evening prior to the start of school. Watch the Coble Connect Newsletter for more information regarding where and when to meet.
Parent Involvement
Parents are welcome to be involved in student activities and help drive on field trips. Each class also has one to two room parents who help coordinate parent involvement. Volunteer opportunities might include supporting the teacher with gifts and encouragement, helping with school events, or planning class parties. All parents who enter the school must be approved as a volunteer and go through a background check. Drivers on field trips must be registered and approved with the office.
Lunch
Students can either bring their own lunch to school or purchase a hot lunch. The Hot Lunch program begins the second week of school, and you can read more information about it HERE. You can find the hot lunch menu on our weekly Coble Connect Newsletter.
For those bringing their own lunch, please keep the following in mind.
- Please pack cold items only, as microwaves are not available.
- Thank you for packing nutritious food and we ask that you avoid sending soda or candy.

Visitors and Check-out
Visitors (parents included) must sign in and out at the front office when on campus. Should you need to check out your child during the school day, please come to the main office. A quick call or email ahead of your check out time will help us have your child ready for pick up on your arrival.
Weekly Chapel
In addition to daily Bible instruction, all students participate in weekly chapel services on Friday morning. We walk to the Georgia Cumberland Academy Church for our chapel service, weather permitting. Pastors and community leaders provide a spiritual thought meant to draw us closer to Jesus and each other. Parents are welcome to join the chapel, which begins
Worship Wednesdays
Each Wednesday, our school welcomes the pastoral team into our classrooms. Each classroom enjoys a small group setting with one of our pastors. We are so blessed to have such supportive spiritual mentors discipling our children.

The Coble mascot is the Lion, and the school colors are blue and white.
